The official Samsung Galaxy Note 9 launch date is set for August 9, following the invite sent out by Samsung on June 27. The unveiling will happen in Brooklyn, New York at 11am EST (8am PST, 4pm BST).

The Galaxy Note 9 is expected to pack a sizable 6.4in display, bigger than the Note 8’s 6.32in offering. According to some reports, the device will come with a horizontal dual-camera setup and a fingerprint scanner beneath the camera system.

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Note 9 will make its debut at on 9 August at a Samsung Unpacked event in New York. The device is expected to be up for pre-order on 14 August and on sale 24 August.



Since Note 8 retailed for $929 (£869, AU$1,499) at launch, We don’t see Samsung lowering the price for the Note 9, especially now Apple has pushed smartphone prices even higher with its iPhone X.
